Stepping Out and Playing Nice

I did it!  I really stepped out of my comfort zone on this one.  And ya know what?  It was actually fun!

I was recently interviewed on Facebook Live by Carina Groombridge – Mindset & Success Coach.  This weekly podcast is designed specifically for “mom-preneurs”, which if you’re not familiar with the term means simply,

Mompreneur
Noun. /ˌmɑːm.prəˈnɝː/
A successful woman raising and balancing both a business and children.

I was very honored to be asked yet also very nervous.

You see, public speaking is not my thing.  I’m fine in a small group or when I’m teaching a class.  My best and most comfortable place to be though is 1:1 with someone I care about, whether it’s family, friends, or clients.

But for the sake of my business, my personal growth, and women everywhere, I just knew I had to do this!

And like I mentioned, it was actually kinda fun!

It didn’t turn me into a great speaker by any means, (I don’t know how many times I said “uhm”, like 100!?)  but I faced a fear, connected with others, and was able to offer a little coaching advice to help viewers “play nice” with others with a few super easy communication tips.

I’m telling you these strategies take such little effort but the impact on your relationships will be huge!

Who doesn’t want stronger, more enjoyable relationships?!

So, if you’d like to learn more about me, my work and how I got started, please check out the video below.

If you’d rather just jump ahead to my coaching advice, that’s fine too!  Skip right on over to 34.30 in the video.

Enjoy!  And thanks for watching.
